PAMS Link is a program designed to showcase a broad range of performing arts pieces that run concurrently with the Performing Arts Market in Seoul. Through contests, collaborative festival programs and scheduled performances with related organizations, PAMS Link expands the scope of the Performing Arts Market in Seoul and provides an opportunity to experience the varied spectrum of Korean performing arts as well as a glimpse into the rich performing arts infrastructure in Korea. Moreover, Performing Arts Market in Seoul proposes to act as a link between participants and many performing arts groups, allowing them the opportunity to expand their networks even further.
A total of 40 performances were chosen through a competition, and Performing Arts Market in Seoul 2015 participants will be able to watch these chosen performances. Please note, however, that tickets are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served availability basis.

Reserving in Advance
To make a reservation on the PAMS 2015 website, log in with the ID and password you chose when registering for the website. Go to [MY PAMS], select the reservation menu, and select the performance and the time slot of your preference. [Reservations Open : 15:00, September 16th]
Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis, so if a show is sold out it may not be possible to make any further reservations. You can check your reservations through the [MY PAMS] page.

Attending Performances
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the performance start time. You can then show your pass. After your identity is confirmed, you will receive your admission ticket.
 Discounts on Tickets: If you are eligible to receive a discount, you can obtain the discounted amount directly from the venue.

Attention
Reservations for performances on the 3rd (Sat) ~ 4th (Sun), Oct. 2015 must be made in advance.
Reservations for performances on the 10h (Sat) ~ 11th (Sun), Oct. 2015must either be made in advance or through the PAMS Link Desk only.

  Wind's Ensemble is the new harmony by mingling the western sound with Korea's traditional music and vice versa. 8 pieces, Wind's Ensemble consists of sometimes strong and sometimes soft music and dances. Starting with 'Modern Seven'that combines the drum sound with Taepyeongso Sinawi and contemporary dance. Also Korea's traditional court music 'Sujecheon' and 'Jeongdaeeop Yeonggwan' are played with western instruments and western classical music by Chopin and Rabel is played with the Korean traditional instruments.

  Using the building's outer wall as canvas, live Multimedia Painting and the vertical dance on the wall are harmonized. In particular, the dancers seem to deny the gravity as they walk, run and jump on the vertical wall. This thrilling performance is sure to make the audience feel the beauty and wonder.   The shamanism myth 'baridegi' story is told by utilizing vertical performance and facade image. The paradoxical story about an abandoned child saving his father stir up the audience's mind as it reminds of the people of present age fighting against apathy. Though it's quiet, touching scenes that utilizes powerful movements and traditional music 'minyo' delivers well the minds of those who are abandoned.

  It's a beautiful performance using a huge screen hanging in the air.
  As a opening performance of the festival, a beautiful performance using a huge screen hanging in the air is shown. The horizontal screen that looked like a stage for the performers starts to incline perpendicularly which portrays the serious environmental problem which may literally turn the world upside down. With a image projected on the screen, the actors hanging on the string in the air give a fascinating performance. It's the work by an aerial performance group ""Wired Aerial Theatre' from England.
  Since its premier in 2100, it has been performed at the main festivals in England as well as other European countries.

  “Arirang” has been handed down to posterity in diverse forms, thus expressing the indigenous regional ethos from all over Korea. It has also been the emblem of Korea’s indefatigable spirit of resistance and sorrows through the painful and tragic period of modern history. In short, Arirang is music that represents uniquely Korean culture. In 2012, the song, “Arirang,” which Symbolizes Korea, was inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity program and to commemorate the event, many different kinds of “Arirang” performances and festival shave taken place as well as much academic scholarship on it.
