- A project of Hamlet’s self-disruption, made by four Hamlets!
Pansori Hamlet Project is a work maximizing Hamlet’s agony by setting Hamlet’s self into four people. This work thoroughly shows the agony and overcoming process of a young person, who identifies father’s undeserved death, and is a story of true Hamlet that Hamlet himself is making. Hamlet’s long soliloquy consists of the dialogues of Hamlets, Ophelia’s conversation is composed of songs, and the scene of fighting with swords by Hamlet and Laertes, the last highlight of the Pansori, consists of vivid and tense Pansori scene. Hamlet’s agony and the sense of weight that the original work has are vitalized. And, the heavy weight of a classic is alleviated, and thus Pansori Hamlet shows Hamlet is not different from us.

<Mistakes> By Ambiguous Dance Company, KIM Bo-ram
We all make mistakes, and suffer from making those mistakes. Yet we do not want to admit they were made. Attempting to reconcile this thought, I sought after ways to express the denial and the pain of facing our own mistakes. As an expression thereof, I had dancers perform under the extreme of covering their heads with a black plastic bag, which disables them from seeing and breathing properly. Because of its extreme nature, every movement has been carefully calculated so as not to waste a single breath. Also, all of the dancers have undergone numerous practices to ensure their safety, as well as their ability to communicate with the audience.
To <Accompany> means to "go with" or to "go together". With respect to living in this period of individualism I tried to define "accompany" in terms of sharing the same heart and thoughts. These days, many people think as individuals, rather than as a community,
and use their individuality for their own benefit. And maybe the loneliness and fear that we are feeling now is something that we caused. I dedicate this letter to those who accompany me in these same thoughts and feelings.
<Close Up With The World> by Company 47·49 François Veyrunes
“How does one live and accept one’s masculinity other than by negating or subduing femininity?” On stage, the characters are faced with their respective differences, similarities, leanings, desires and urges and will interpret them in their interactions around this duality which lies within them.
<Qui, ora> by Claudia Catarzi
The work is divided into three parts, dialectically marked by auditory stimuli that dictate the proxemics ad hoc. The extended time, the silence, the rustle of a grey raincoat - which she slowly puts on – mark the rhythm of the micro scores of the actions: the impromptu broken gestures evoke a metaphysical puppet led by invisible threads to an increasingly frantic rhythm. It is a wrapping, a conscious limit that suggests the desire to break free and reveal itself in its human presence.
<A SHORT ODYSSEE | WOMAN> by Jelena Kostić
Ever since she first started creating theatrical dance performance in 2008, Dutch-Serbian choreographer Jelena Kostić has been meticulously building a scrutinizing, socio-politically charged repertoire. Working with gripping motifs like alienation and security, herd behaviour, selfishness and sacrifice, exclusion and embrace, Kostić observes human behaviour in all its facets. She transforms her dancers into cinematic personages, submerging in their role like actors. On stage they undergo conflicting emotions, dragging the spectator out of his comfort zone and into their struggle.

<Skill for me> Choreographed by KWON Ryung-eun.
Seeking for myself. Who am I? Ryung-eun, which means literally 'Clever hill'. Biologically, female body. Nationality, South Korea. Can I define myself completely by only mean of name, gender, and nationality? Those are only things that can be changed at any time. Then, if I scrutinize my inner self. Stabile energy and continuously changing energy keep struggling each other 'like the boiling rice porridge.' with the question "Who am I?" I feel I can only lose my self. Therefore let’s make a ritual to search for the missing self. In order to find 'me'. So that I can answer sincerely whenever I call 'myself’. While hoping for this, let the ritual go on. Then starts 'myself’.
<Equilibrium> by Company SIGA, LEE Jaeyoung
If hierachy and conflict between ideologies sustain, the transition towards disorder begins to develop. Entropy ultimately reaches a maximum and finally settles into a stable condition. However, this “order” inevitably collapses into chaos, evolving once again into a settled disorder, and the cycle repeats itself. This phenomenon manifests itself in many situations. For example, the gaps between the rich and poor, racial discrimination, power structures in society, etc. alludes to the universal tendency toward entropy in describing asymmetric points presented on the surface, showing that equilibrium is impermanent and no sense of order is ever unchangeable. Through energetic movement, performers express their evolved selves in relation to nature and the human persona that have gone through infinite cycles of equilibrium and chaos.
<Dissociative Identity> by SON Hyejeong
The duplicity of people is likened to the dissociative identity disorder. The mannequin represents people wrapped in snobbery and falsity to hide their selfishness and inferiority, and end up live like a mannequin that changes its look depending on the costume.
<fETCH> by Begoña Quiñones & Mar Rodríguez is a piece that examines and plays with the concept of the alter ego. The alter ego can present itself in the form of a reflection, shadow or even a dream. It is a vessel onto which man projects his or her desires and yearnings for the self. These ideas served as the point of departure for <fETCH> and enabled the two performers to develop a common choreographic vocabulary. The performers use this language to engage in a game of identity and perception that envelopes both the audience and themselves.
<X Galatea X> by Justyne LI & WONG Tan-ki
In Greek mythology, sculptor Pygmalion fell in love with the statue that he created, Galatea. As its creator, he had an unspoken desire to bring it to life, humble and yet so impudent. Breathing life into his statue, the sculptor was at once shaped by his own creation. Such intriguing transformation is irreversible, so is the metamorphosis of this dance work. And “X” stands for …
<Here is it> by Li De
“Flying the flag of youthfulness, this work unveils the attitude of today’s youth in all its sincerity.” A live rock show always stirs me. In that moment, it is as though the band members have infinite freedom, and they’re enjoying it. Breaking free of all life’s shackles, throwing away those shallow facades, hypocrisies and pretensions, the most genuine attitude of those of our age towards the world manifests itself in that very moment. Perhaps the elements that are about to happen on stage, at one point in the past or future, are truths tucked away in the depths of our heart.

<Gaksi>, by Art Project Bora
This is a contemporary madangguk (Korean traditional play) accompanied with Korean-style original number <gaksi-pumba>, collaborating with musicians. This piece was inspired by ‘somu (young female shaman)’ in the Korean gaksital (bridal mask). But in this show, the somu is not dressed in a beautiful bridal dress with red rouges on both cheeks. Rather, she is a modern day bride(wife) who portrays her conflicts and the satirical expressions of somu.
<Moment2> choreographed by LEE Yun-jung is about wobbling and balance in our life.
<TED; Trio Education Department> by SangBang, adopts ‘trio dances’ in modern dance history and restructures them. Starting with archiving trio dances, the group broadens its search to the composition of 3 that is widespread in our culture. In the process of the data collection and archiving, SangBang studies modern dance with the perspective of the trio dance, which received relatively little attention compared to duet or group dances. And it also shares diverse meanings derived from different aspects such as mathematics, geometry, and culture.
<"B/O/N/E"> by OKUNO Miwa is a work of investigation on the possibilities of movement of an articulate body, and at the same time of the capacity to dislocate it, separate it, disorganize it and decompose it. Only this performer has this capacity, which she gets in a chaotic way, but at the same time with a unique aesthetic beauty.

- Why did Samsa have to metamorphose into a bug, and why did the author Kafka free Samsa from his family although it meant his having to turn Samsa into a bug? Through Samsa's metamorphosis, Director Kim has brought a new meaning to Kafka's life and his writing, who, despite his talent as a writer, had to earn the 'bread' while working as an insurance company employee. And he invites the contemporary people who are being constantly obliged to lead a life of a 'sound' social being so that they could question themselves; Why do I need to be the only person doing 'ant'?

- <The Noodle House in Sang-ju> is the story of a mother and daughter who run a small scale home noodle industry in Sang-ju, a small village of southern Korea. Noddles are extruded, dried, cut and packed. The demented mother has let all the memories go one by one except the most bitter one. Mother stays on the day when the son ran away from the army 20 years ago. She is waiting him passed away already. Mother dies after taking his last breath.
<The Noodle House in Sang-ju> is like a moving Oriental painting. Short and simple dialogues, air like movements-a picture in beauty with a space. This work, written by Yang-Won Kang, resonates in subtle words and motions.

It portrays the process of corruption of one human being by adapting him into number of characters to depict the different sides of violated condition of human being.
We all are sentenced to death as we are born.
No matter what we do while we live, in Kafka's society, no one is excepted from a sentence of death. Here we all face the most dreadful side of our life.
We all have to ultimately overcome the fear of our life. Fear of living, death, success, love and responsibility.
The live portrayed through the main character of the piece is the portrayal of our life, and the changes in his mind over the course of the play reveals our life in today's world.

- “Meeting another self”
Avataar Hamlet, dancing and singing
There are, in the world of Hamlet_Avataar, three kinds of Characters: Soul, real people, and avataar. The king and the soul of Ophelia are literally souls. And there are people living in the real world, and also the characters of avataar that they perform themselves. The king also plays the role of chief clown of the clown group. Many people including Claudius also serve roles of clown. Hamlet first exists as a prince in real world, then decides to become a clown by himself. Each actors, changing themselves into the characters of soul, of the real world, and of avataar, cross the boarder between the reality and imagination. They first exist like statues of history, then wearing the clothes on them or having props, turn themselves into the roles, characters. And when the role finishes, they return to their own place. Just like a play of life that people in it play the role doing their best.

- Falling As I Lean Against the Wall is the story of a drunken man's vision in the short time that he vomits and pisses himself. The results of his sickness return as murals, and into the illusion jumps in the drunkard, only to have the images be erased as he urinates on top of everything.
This is a painting performance that sheds light on the fantasy and disillusionment of a drunken middle aged man and his struggle with an urban wall. It looks at the aftermath of a life of intoxication, dreams and the lack thereof, and suggests a sincere look at the state of man today.
